Funding from the American Rescue Plan Act was used by the NENCPPH to pilot sharing of services across the region for two care management programs: high-risk pregnancy (CMHRP) and at-risk children ages 0-5 (CMARC). Recruitment and training for two float care managers, one for each program occurred prior to these floats being deployed. These float positions are designed to provide regional coverage when an LHD has a staff vacancy or shortage. To support workforce retention and professional development, pilot funds also supported a variety of training and conference opportunities. Funds were also utilized to purchase computers, webcams, and other technologies to facilitate the implementation of telehealth care management services.
